In this gentle, hands-on story-and-coloring book, Grandpa Joe answers every question with patience, humor, and a few silly jokes about his diabetes. Through kid-friendly comparisons, like glucose as energy for dancing and insulin as a moving truck, children learn what diabetes is, why Grandpa checks his blood sugar, and what he does when his numbers run low.
